A General that has diplomas for project management, has experience in handling a similar insurance company (AFPMBAI) and was described by a 2011 PCIJ profile as idealism personified, perhaps this is why PRRD is taking his time with him.

In 2015, the DBM Sec. Abad, DOH Sec. Garin, and PhilHealth CEO Padilla illegally diverted PHP10.6-B Philhealth funds for an overpriced barangay health center project that's just 10% complete a year after its extended deadline. According to PACC Commissioner Greco Belgica, PhilHealth has lost more than PHP153 BILLION due to overpayment for total claims and fraud SINCE 2013. Belgica cites non-validation of claims/non-transparency.Read in detail:

With that, why don't we ask @risahontiveros why as Philhealth DIRECTOR, she spent on TV ads costing PHP400k/30 second slot. Let's also ask this former director if Morales alone is capable of stealing billions from Philhealth. Corruption there is worth decades.
If the @HouseofRepsPH and @senatePH want a REAL probe into Philhealth, they shouldn't be shortsighted. Invite EVERY single Philhealth exec who was there since 2010, or even before that. It'll take more than anti-Du30 virtue-signalling to clean PhilHealth's mess now.
