Booking of AEW Women has been nothing but frustrating to see the lack of effort put into building a divison

And also the lame excuses given every time it’s brought up, it’s very justified fans feel they are in no position to preach women’s empowerment

Heres a look back so far

The first AEW women’s Champion was Riho
She spent majority of her reign not on tv, one of her biggest ppv matches was against Emi Sakura, a last min thrown together match that Emi had to go on Twitter to explain to fans who she was and her link to Riho
Not a single promo segment

During Rihos title reign a lot of the focus was on this awful stable brandi led
Kris Statlander vs Riho TV title match was ruined by the antics involved

Next champion was Nyla
Nyla had a title match with Kris @ Revolution given little build, the worst spot on the card and little time
She then disappeared from tv and was barely seen till it came to her match with Shida

Double or Nothing the title changed hands to Shida
A phenomenal talent that never misses in matches
Had a great match with Penelope but still yet to receive a storyline or a promo segment

Another failure of AEW is following up with Penelope after her title match
She had a great showing and people were interested in her, but yet the next week of dynamite she was nowhere to be seen

The only woman AEW has shown they care about is Britt Baker, she’s given a tonne of character segments and continued to give her segments even while she’s injured
The effort from AEW is yet to go beyond Britt

And last nights AEW
The story for a injured Britt Baker got a segment, Big Swole got a 1 min match against Rebel

The champion Shida sat in the crowd and didn’t do anything

A 1 min match is all the women got in a 2hr TV show!!! Last time that happened a hashtag trended for days

you can say AEW have been unfortunate with injuries and with the pandemic, but there are no excuses for nearly a years worth of no effort being put in to building a divison

I’m tired, I know other fans are tired of hearing “it’s coming”

Truth is AEW have proven they don’t care
