I’m curious, as both Leno and Martinez want first team football who would be your first choice.

Things to consider (thread):

Both can speak fluent English therefore both have very good communication, EMI Martinez has a stringer relationship would some of our younger players, which could make them progress better perhaps.

Leno is slightly older than Martinez, only by 6 months. Therefore the age gap isn’t anything to worry about. Both are still very young for a Goalkeeper.

Martinez has been at the club for over 10 years therefore shows his loyalty to the badge. Martinez is a very big arsenal fan therefore this could be beneficial for Arsenal

Leno’s advantages:
Leno has a better reaction time, and has more experience experience. Leno has also been at the top of his game for a long period of time now, showing his consistency.

Martinez’s advantages:
His height, Martinez is 6ft 4, compared to Leno who is 6ft 3, this helps Martinez to be comanding on set pieces and corners.

Lastly, Martinez has better distribution and is more confident.
