i was talking to one of my colleagues about maybe going to uni once this apprenticeship is over so i can study pharmacology and he said it was really difficult but he also said he believed i could do it and actively encouraged me.

i’ve felt “stupid” my entire life because of undiagnosed and untreated ADHD but now i’m finally navigating life and incorporating skills i’ve learnt and to get to a point where i have an idea of what i want to do and i’m excited about it is astounding to me.

and then to have other people, who i see as highly intelligent and skilled, encourage and genuinely believe that i am capable of achieving something that seems monumental to me is well, incredible.
