Working with people on Twitter

/1
As someone who has been exploring twitter for a few months now, I'm realizing the tremendous benefit of involving others in your creative process. They help your mind generate ideas, inspire action, refine your process , and provide encouragement when you need that extra push

/2
Why do we need other people to do these things? Why can't we do them ourselves?

/3
When I look upon my creative process, there's so much of it that relies on being understood. You're trying to take something that YOU value and efficiently express it to others.

/4
Even if you are really really good at this, you need something on the interpersonal level to reassure you of this.

Without that, our minds wanders...Your ego either grows or you loses confidence...

Whatever it is you your touch of relatability

/5
Twitter has been so great for this because it provides me with a group of people unlike anything I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with before.

/6
People who are just like me, longing, struggling, and working for the same things but also hold entirely different backgrounds and experiences. They're able to encourage my journey, knowing exactly where I am and how I feel, while providing fresh perspective and feedback

/7
How do you initiate an interaction like this with a stranger?

Just say hi...

/8
You'll get better over time

I've found that at first, while you still feel weird about reaching out to strangers, It's better to just play it cool instead of overthinking it.

/9
Most of the time they're super psyched to hear from you as well. If not, they may not be the best person to befriend in the first place.

*Side note that my DM's are always open and a good place to start if you haven't already*
