MY THEORY ON BORUTO CHAPTER 49

So to start. Isshiki is massacring this village I’ve tried so many things to avoid this outcome like, maybe N/S do scale and it’s just bc jigen absorbed TT chakra, but again that shouldn’t really matter since isshiki is massively > jigen

Naruto will again be heavily injured and sasuke will die. Almost a repeat of last time but with worse outcomes, on top of this naruto will also be taken into isshikis timeless dimension and will be sealed away here as Isshiki will need to replace karma on kawaki r

And on top of this Isshiki will need some time to revive in kawakis body (I think he will revive but kawakis conscious will still exist) during this time boruto will have just lost everything and may feed into momoshiki further unraveling into borutos body

This will cause boruto to need the jogan. As this is a power which works against Ōtsutsuki given to him by toneri, it may slow the progress or fully allow boruto to defeat momoshiki while Isshiki is simultaneously reviving

Now. Shit gets CLOUDY ASF here bc if the time skip. What could Isshiki be doing in this time, as I think he will act within the 3-5 days he needs, ill leave Isshiki alone and just theorize for boruto bc I have absolutely no thoughts on what Isshiki is doing

Boruto has a few options. Having both karma and the jogan he’s capable of accessing isshikis dimension which means boruto can potentially train with naruto there and he’ll age but no time will have passed outside, or boruto could train alone for years while the world burns

Boruto could be going down a very future trunks like saga in life. Isshiki clearly doesn’t need the power of a chakra fruit though he MAY want it, I don’t think he’ll drain the life of the planet like momo wants to and will be like kaguya in that since

Sarada having witness her fathers death and hokages demise will awaken her mangekyo sharingan at the same age as itachi, I think despite her current personality, she could go down an obito/pain route and turn evil and will need to be saved by boruto due to her intense love/hatred

Mitsuki will follow boruto no matter where he goes. Boruto is not like sasuke and won’t push mitsuki away, I can see them growing equally as strong while training together to same their 2 other team 7 members

Shikamaru or Kakashi will be appointed as hokage and the jonin who’re still alive will have to fight Kara to save naruto and sasuke. Sakura will be leading this pack and may come into contact with delta, and the 8th Kara member
