I remember days when I would send an invoice or give a quote for logo designs to some of my fellow brethren in Christ for branding and design services and they'd be like "Ah ah"

I mostly felt bad because I could tell that they started to look at me with judgy eyes after that day https://twitter.com/thefiyin_/status/1290980429462491139
And I feel like a lot of Christian Creatives have the sense of not wanting to be seen as greedy or money conscious. Hence we de-value our work and never really grow the skill of charging your worth.

But truth is, if you're excellent at your craft, you should charge that value.
And you should be bold enough to talk about it.
it doesn't make you greedy or unmerciful to those who can't afford it. Don't be condemned because you turned down a client who couldn't afford you.
Subjects around money and our faith & conduct has always been a sensitive thing I know.

But until we learn to place the balance right, we'll either be kind to all with our prices while we starve...

or just be flat out greedy money chasers.
Anyhow sha, someday I'll do more to help with this.Just thought to share my 2 cents this hot salty afternoon
