I stumbled upon this movie reaction for Ocean Waves (1993) by Studio Ghibli and was completely satisfied that I am not the only one with the same thoughts after watching the film.

I remember back in college deciding whether to write a term paper in my Developmental Reading class about Ocean Waves or Silver Linings Playbook (2012) but I ended up doing the latter.

Nevertheless, the video laid out my thoughts on the sequence and seemingly dull plot, about the relationship of Yutaka and Taku, and how the character of Rikako was used to develop the male lead (Taku).

This thread drags on I keep on talking so I'll stop here but the following gif Tweets came from the iconic sunset scene of 'what-supposed-to -be' the resolution of Taku and Yutaka but ended up getting ruined by just one fucking line (LOL).
