So I sort something with next door's dog. She doesn't start whining and barking if I let her into her garden, but I think it'll only work if she can see me. I have breakfast in my garden and set up my laptop, headphones and an extension cable and it starts to bloody rain.

Just been out. She's still there in the garden and appears happy. She uses going into the garden as a tactic to stop her owner from leaving so she must think someone's in the house because the door's open.She won't go in and check in case the door's shut and she's left alone.

It's not raining heavily, it's a light drizzle. Ok for dogs - not ok for electrical equipment. I know how riveting this thread is, sorry.
