2. While Andrews has likely made errors, this pile-on right at this time makes it LESS LIKELY many will obey lockdown rules. They see press disrespecting & questioning leaders & think it’s their right to do the same. Compliance with rules is way down in Vic - why is this?

For both these reasons, press are CONTRIBUTING to potential failure of lockdown. They ensured ppl don’t have the right info, plus undermined the authority of the leadership. If true, what those journos did today WILL LEAD TO MORE DEATHS.

We wonder if any of those journos will admit - even to themselves - they’ve undermined a critical health response & should be ashamed. So should all the others who’ve defended them or remained silent. THIS IS ABOUT HUMAN LIVES.

PS: How do journalists justify their tut-tutting reporting on people breaking lockdown laws, while themselves contributing to that behaviour with their immature, nasty & inappropriate pile-ons during press conferences?
