Reasons why Revenge Of The Sith is my Personal FAVORITE Star Wars Movie (A Thread):

1- The Musical Score. Wayyyy too many great scores ROTS. Such as Anakin's Betrayal, Anakin's Dark Deeds, Padme's Ruminations, Order 66 Theme, Battle Of The Heroes and much more.

2- The Acting. Many people give Hayden flack but in my opinion he was PERFECT as Anakin Skywalker. I personally love the Anakin-Padme Sequence when Anakin is in the Jedi Temple and Padme is in her appartment. No Words are Spoken. But you can see the Emotion in Hayden and Natalie.

2- The Acting (Part 2). Ian McDiarmid was Incredible as Darth Sidious. His mannerisms, laugh... Perfect imo. Ewan McGregor Keeps on being THE Best Young Kenobi that we could have gotten in Live Action. He brings Charisma and well... the Memes.

3- The Plot. What a better way to start the Film with a 'Rescue' Type Mission. After Ani and Kenobi rescue Palpatine you are like 'What will happen now? We are still early in the movie'. And from there the Main Story begins to unfold. Slowly but Steadily we see Anakin's Turn.

4- The Characters Serving Their Purpose (Part 1). Many Say that Padme was Underutilized in ROTS and to some Extent I agree. But she served her only purpose. To be the Reason why Anakin Turned. Palpatine knew that Anakin cared a lot and he used that against Anakin.

4- The Characters Serving Their Purpose (Part 2). Besides Padme, Mace Windu also serves his Purpose well. We know that he wants to destroy this Sith Lord. We know that he is prepared to do what it takes to bring an end to the Darkness. And we see this in his fight with Sidious.

4- The Characters Serving Their Purpose (Part 3). Grandmaster Yoda serves his purpose. Should he use a Lightsaber to strike? Something that we do not see him do in the OT? Maybe not. But it shows how far the Jedi Order had fallen. That their Hubris allowed Sidious to Take Over.

5- The Grand Plan Of Sidious. I have always wondered about how Sidious Rose to Power. And we get to see his Brilliant Plan unfold not just in ROTS but the CW Series and the whole PT. Creating a conflict just to Lure the Jedi in to losing their ideals and morals. Genius?

6- Anakin's Fall. Imo it was well done. We see Palpatine Manipulating him since The Phantom Menace. In ROTS Anakin just wanted to Save Padme from dying. He was not able to save his mother so... he feels that he HAS to save her. But in the end his Hunger for Power Consumed Him.

7- The Bad Guys Winning. There haven't been many Instances in FIlms where the Bad Guys Win. So... to actually see something like this happen in such a scale (The Jedi Order Destroyed, The Chosen One Turing to the Dark Side) was well... A surprise to be sure. But a welcome one.

I have more Reasons why I love ROTS but this thread is wayyy too big already lol.

Thanks to those who read it all. I just tried to Justify my Opinion because most of the time I post 'ROTS Is a Masterpiece' and I dont explain why. I hope that you enjoyed this thread though. :D
