The thing that makes me laugh is that when I went to Mexico I was welcomed with open arms. Like all the locals were talking to me in Español and treating me like one of them. Why? Was trying to erase my identity. Even tho it was very obvious I wasn’t from there in terms of me living there they still saw me as one of them.
So this is why this thread bothers me so much because it’s like, I am one of y’all. Why are you trying to hard to push me and other latinx ppl who live outside L.America out of the community.
Honestly it was amazing to see so many people who looked my me. It’s was beautiful. The glorious brown skin like ✨✨ amazing
