The superintendent of the Paulding County school district in says masks are "a personal choice" and there is "no practical way to enforce a mandate to wear them," which made me wonder about their school dress code. https://twitter.com/Freeyourmindkid/status/1291137066500333571">https://twitter.com/Freeyourm...
The handbook& #39;s online, so it& #39;s easy to look up! https://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/domain/4216 ">https://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/domain/42...
Things this school can enforce:
* Shoulders must be covered, and armholes must be close-fitting.
* Skirts must be no more than 3" from top of kneecap as measured with "a ruler or the width of a 3x5 index card."

Also banned: hats, cleavage, bra straps, bare shoulders, anything your school decides is "gang related."
So yeah THIS FUCKING GUY thinks it& #39;s perfectly reasonable to measure girls& #39; skirts with an index card, to ban people from showing their SHOULDERS, and to police "deep-scooped necklines" (i.e., the cleavage of girls with large breasts).
But REQUIRING MASKS is "not practical."

My apologies for not providing the full text of the screenshots in the alt-text area; for those looking for the original text, it& #39;s on page 11 of the manual and I did try to provide the highlights in the tweets. https://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/domain/4216 ">https://www.paulding.k12.ga.us/domain/42...
