okay watching eternal sunshine of the spotless mind

man fuck. i don’t like romance movies or anything of the sort but that was impeccable. it wasn’t so much the movie itself, but more the question of: if it doesn’t work, does that mean it was all a waste ?

personally, i deal with things like that in two ways. either (a) find a reason to stop it before it starts or (b) completely erase them from my life once it fails. is it 100% ? no. a lot of times they still pop up in dreams in exclusively positive ways at random times

and as a result, i question whether the decision was right. because if you have to erase a person, you have to erase all the good memories too. all the things you saw, the future you mentally created, the small shit you learned, all of that has to go
