Skincare brand; skindom is using propaganda and fake news to tarnish Fenty Skin’s name: a thread

I saw this tweet where Kehlani and Saweetie were posted. This person tried to throw dirt on Fenty’s name. Kehlani posted about her real experience which is fine. However the tweeter cropped the date on Saweetie’s tweet to make it seem she was speaking about Fenty.

So right off the bat I was like ... it’s getting weird. I noticed the tweeter promote skindom in the comments but I thought nothin of it at first chile

I looked up skindom just to see what it’s giving. I heard of it before and wanted the tea. As I was looking, I saw a slew of tweets with the same formula: slander Fenty + promote skindom

Skindom was also confronted and had this to say

Now I don’t know why Fenty Skin is the Target.. the gworls say this brand is owned by a black woman so they should be supported period. For all we know this could be a scheme that Todd set up. But until then, this is weird, fake news, and disgusting

It’s target being capitalized for me. But anywho, this weird and I just had to let the gworls know. If you see a Fenty Skin “review” or slander, then just check if they’re promoting skindom as well. Don’t trust it.

I don’t care if there are bad reviews for Fenty Skin, nor do I care that there are good ones. I care about MY review since it’s my skin, and everyone’s skin is different. But y’all not gon lie just to lie. Y’all should continue to support whatever works for you. Purr
