Ok. This is a rant. I& #39;m super annoyed right now.

But I signed up a couple of days ago to speak at the Boston School Committee meeting. I practice what I was going to say for a couple of days in order to get in under the 2 minute time constraint. @mtloconto @BCassellius
Early in the meeting we were told that there were 96 public comment speakers. That& #39;s a lot.

The meeting started at 5:00 and for reasons that are inexplicable they reorder public comment to be last. They spent two hours on the superintendent& #39;s presentation.
My kids hadn& #39;t eaten so at about 8:00 I logged off.

I& #39;m told my name was called at about 9:00. I missed my kids own school meeting waiting for two minutes of these peoples time.

Honestly, I& #39;m really angry.
Do you how many posts I& #39;ve seen extolling parents to not pull their kids from schools because it will wreak havoc on the district budget?
But this school district, it doesn& #39;t care about us. It doesn& #39;t want to hear from us. And they show it a million different ways.
I unlocked my account just to make sure they can see in case they are interested. Which they are not.
This is why I don& #39;t go to school committee meetings anymore. I just end up angry tweeting ELECTED SCHOOL COMMITTEE NOW into the void that is #Bospoli
