Why do so many people imagine they will never be traumatized when trauma - proximity to bodily violation and threat of death- is ubiquitous and eventual?
There is no trauma-proof life.
Why don’t we proactively teach each other how to face traumatic experiences with self-compassion?
Why do we stigmatize the traumatized so quickly and reflexively?

There are only those who accept traumatic vulnerability as human.

Those who have not been traumatized yet.

And those who negate their own survived traumatic experience, by reenacting or inflicting it.
I mean we imagine the gods themselves as traumatized - how does anyone imagine that they are entitled to a trauma-free life?
(This entitlement, and unjust attempt to permanently outsource traumatic experience to black and brown bodies - to “Others” - and then to blame & stigmatize the disproportionately traumatized for their reality is white supremacy too.)
