We all had fun with the campaign Barbie on here last week but a set arrived tonight (not sure from who but thank you), and my daughters were immediately on their own playing debates and finance plans and speeches after dinner now and it’s pretty amazing

Finance director Barbie has raised 9 thousand billion dollars which is impressive but she keeps telling Voter Barbie “gimme all your money or I’ll throw you off the kitchen island” so there’s some trade-offs

Campaign manager Barbie keeps scheduling 11 pm Zooms

The debate is being moderated by a piece of bread from Sweetgreen, which I guess is at least a tougher questioner than most of the Trump campaign’s preferred moderator list

Not to lay the shmaltz on any thicker, but Senator Barbie wants to be elected because she “wants to make the earth safe and clean and help people be happy.” (For verisimilitude Sweetgreen Bread will be along shortly with “but how you will pay it for without raising taxes?)

Just realized that tomorrow when their brother is awake, a giant orange haired baby is going to crash the stage while yelling “mine! mine!” and that’s going to be just a bit too real
