So I'm trying the Street Fighter V trial that just came out for #FightingGameMonth and I noticed some things that aren't really made clear, at least it wasn't to me.
-Yes you can use all 40 characters, but only in training mode. All other modes are limited to 16 characters.

-You cannot access the general story mode at all, even if you download the 8ish GB file from the PS Store.
-Save data won't carry over to the full version.
-Cannot purchase anything with the in-game currency.
However, for what the two week trial does give you, it's not bad.

-You can do all the arcade modes to unlock some neat art and you can do the character specific story modes.
-Online user ID info supposedly can be carried over to the full version.
-Timed extra battles can be fought.
-Online replays can be viewed without any restrictions.

-As for the actual online modes, I haven't tried them, so I can't say what you can and cannot do.
Anyway, this thread is just a heads up for anyone curious about the SFV trial. Don't expect the entire game to be free for two weeks, however, the trial isn't entirely restricted.
