If you've ever wondered what's behind the brake ducts of a NASCAR Cup Car, here is a bit of an overview.
Since the Cup car bumpers are built to replicate the street car bumpers, each one of them has slightly different shapes for where the ducts can go.

This shows the various shapes for each manufacturer. Like with most other parts, brake ducts have to be approved by NASCAR.
The race car front ends are quite similar to the street car front ends. The brake ducts on the Camry Cup car mount on the inside edges of the street car grille as can be seen in this comparison.
