10. FIVE GUYS - a consistent, customizable burger that consists of quality ingredients.

9. Shake Shack - my idea of a smash burger on a potato roll, shack sauce rules.

8. Z Burger (DC) - a very juicy burger that has a bun that every coach would take as the cornerstone of their franchise.

7. The Capital Burger (DC) - the first fancy burger to crack the top ten. Toasted buns with grade A beef and cheese duet

6. Dog Haus (DC) - people....they put their delicious smash burgers on HAWAIIAN ROLLS

5. 80/20 Burger Bar (Norfolk, VA) - boasts an elite beef talent that majors in creative burgers and running the football.

4. Repeal Burbouns and Burgers (Virginia Beach, VA) - if you’re out at VA Beach Oceanfront, this is the spot. Dim lit room with bright flavor.

3. Jack Brown’s Beer & Burger Joint (Norfolk, VA) - WARNING: they are small and expensive in eyes of most offensive linemen. HOWEVER, the flavor and one bite comp goes toe to toe with any burger I’ve ever had. Nice people there too.

2. Duke’s Grocery (DC) - the definition of the Boujee Burger. This burger went to private school it’s whole life and spent summers in Nantucket. Truffle is an optional topping, I stayed true to my roots. Nationally renowned burger.

1. Lucky Buns (DC) - the granddaddy of them all. The first time I had this burger was off Uber Eats....still was the best burger I had ever had. I went the very next day (today lol) and ordered the burger in person.

I cannot put into words the sauce.
