Day 1: DONE.

15 minute periods.
1/3 of the class couldn't log in.
1/3 of the kids who did log in, arrived late.
~10 kids per class didn't even show.
Already reports of some *brutal* zoom-bombing.

Cheers!
And of course, I messed up attendance, marking every kid absent who was, in fact, present.

Day 2: DONE.

90 minute periods, all online. I spaced it out with a little bit of instruction, a little bit of culture-building, and a lot of grace. TODAY WAS AWESOME (all things considered). We used @AnkerMath's intro to Desmos slide deck and the students rocked it.

Cheers!
Day 3: DONE!
That's a wrap on Week 1

Folks, kids are the best. They were patient as we got logged in, they did all the activities that we asked them to do, and they even engaged in conversation. For as much as this sucks, I couldn't be happier to interact with students.
