Also, let's consider. What is the one big mistake the Conservative party keeps making?
That's right. They keep identifying the wrong source of the problem.

The last Tory prime minister who understood where the problem was located was John Major.
He negotiated the Maastrict treaty. He didn't think Europe was the problem.

For Johns Major the problem was not Europe but the "bastards" in his own party, the disruptive nihilists who wouldn't accept what the country needed to be

The three Tory prime ministers before Tony Blair - Heath, Thatcher, Major, all understood that the problem was within the Conservative party, and all three of them were willing to face it down.

But the three prime ministers after Tony Blair - Cameron, May, Johnson - have decided that the problem is within the European Union.

And that's why the Conservative party looks incapable of government. As a party they have been taken over by a diseased nationalism. They have become the problem, and can't recognise it.

If you look at the bare facts of what we're doing. we're going to damage our economy, undermine our international relations and very likely precipitate the break up of the country itself.

That previous generation of Tories, Heath, Thatcher, Major, for all their differences, would never have risked anything on that magnitude of destruction.

It took this new generation of Tories to destroy the country.
They did not use to produce prime ministers willing to destroy the country, but now they do.

And that's where the problem is. it's in the sort of people the Conservative party chooses to lead it.

Think about this too. Thatcher and Major. Both of them from a perfectly ordinary background. Nothing pre-ordered about where they went with their life.

Thatcher and Major would never have taken such stupid risk with the economy and integrity of the country.

But Cameron and Johnson, a pair of public schoolboys, piss both the economy and the country down the drain like it's a joke

And I think it is significant that it was two public schoolboys who destroyed our country.
And I don't think that's a coincidence. I think it's ONLY public schoolboys who would have destroyed the country like this

And what's happened is that the disruptive element that major had to face down is now in control of the whole party.
And to no one's surprise it turns out they can't do the job

Anyone can disrupt. Anyone can twerp around throwing spanners in the works, like Johnson.
But one thing I do know is that clowns cannot take responsibility.

Thatcher and Major could, and did take responsibility.
Cameron and Johnson take none. That's the difference.

We have got an irresponsible government, and if we don't get rid of Boris Johnson, he will destroy our country.
