Don't hesitate. Go for it!

Be sure to ask yourself, what comes after?

Do you want to go into Dev? Marketing? Something else?

Even if it's fuzzy, set goals.

I landed my "dream job" 5 years ago when joining Bungie. After three years, I transitioned from Player Support to Community, furthering this dream. Now, I'm wondering "what's next?"

Building connections and learning about the industry >>while you're in it<< is key.

This isn't to say I'm jumping ship, by the way.

The job is amazing, and I love being a CM for this community. That said, what comes next for the bread guy? How do I continue to grow, set new personal goals, and reach new heights?

All of these are questions for me to answer.

This little string of thought was inspired by people who asked me how I got into the industry. One important thing to ask isn't just how to get in, but how to grow once you've gotten in!
