I was watching Ajax vs Lille Champions league highlights and couldn’t help but notice Gabriel Magalhães was poor that night especially aerially, with all Ajax goals coming from his ends.

First goal: 5ft9 Promes winning a header over Gabriel

Second goal: Gabriel didn’t close down quickly and effectively enough to block the shot which leads to the goal

Conceded chance: Gabriel fails to win a header to clear the ball which leads to Ziyech chance

Third goal: Another header Gabriel fails to win

Gabriel Magalhães is a good left footed ball playing CB but he’s not the finished article yet, I’m not doing this to for any negative reason whatsoever, I’m doing this to show what the compilations don’t show you, I’m sure he’ll improve as he’s still young and be great for #AFC
