Let’s discuss this picture. This picture is from my high school. (Nphs). North Paulding has had the worst response I have ever seen. Instead of trying to fix this, they have suppresed our voices. Even posting about it can lead you to getting in trouble. Hence the no name account
1. This isn’t “taken out of context” this is exactly how it is in the hallways. 2. That’s about the correct ratio of mask wears to non wearers. After this picture was taken I noticed about a 10% increase in mask wearing I the hallways. Only in the hallways keep in mind.
In class hardly anyone wears one. We’ve already had cases in the school but they don’t want to mention it much. The entire football team is gone because one person got it. I know of two other specific example of people getting it through friends. It’s spreading fast
And don’t use the “just do virtual” excuse. We were made to sign up for it way in advance and were told we would have a safe environment. This is not the case. After seeing all this you may want to go to online but you simply cannot at this moment
Our principle announced today that anything posing the school in a negotiate light could lead you in trouble. The original person who posted the picture was taken from class and never returned. His emails have been dismissive and no course of action has been taken
I would also like to add virtual had limited spaces and a short deadline and we are faced with chance at expulsion if we don’t come
I would like to address another point that I see no one talking about. Our busses are still full. Everybody is two to a seat, most without masks, and in a mostly closed area for awhile. This is also a zone in which Covid could spread very easily.
