This will sound snarky, but I am genuinely curious.
Why do people leave generic "how do I do the thing?" questions in comments instead of typing the exact same thing into google?
Any of the first 10 google results would answer your question. Why do you want/need/expect me to?

Again, I& #39;m not being sarcastic. There are lots of questions where it would make sense to ask me!
What yarn is that or do you like those needles or who made that project bag or will that pattern be out in time for christmas or stuff like that all totally make sense to ask me.

But "how do I pick up a dropped stitch?" is something you can ask google and find blog posts & videos & tutorials right there waiting for you, instantly.
It seems weird to want me to type it up myself for you (why reinvent the wheel?) or to google for you.
