There& #39;s something so wrong with older Malawian men where they expect to get certain privilege on the road like they do in their household.

A man hit me today and genuinely tried to convince me it was my fault or it didn& #39;t happen.
So earlier today, I was driving my sister to MIM from Kanengo.

Got to the junction, being the law abiding citizen that I am, I indicated my intention to turn right.

The car behind me noticed and swerved to the left. Tell me why the car behind it comes crashing into me?
I& #39;m oddly calm in these situations so I stopped my car and I politely asked the man to step out so we can talk.

The moment he saw two "little girls" (yes, that& #39;s what he called us) in the car, he caught an attitude.

Excuse me?
When he noticed that the damage to his car was not extensive, he straight up started denying hitting me at all.

This police guy couldn& #39;t help us as he was carrying a patient. So we waited for over 40 minutes before other officers arrived.
This waiting period is where my baby sister and I were showered with insults.
-he& #39;s been on the road longer than I have
-atsikana a masiku ano kudziwa kuyankhula
-We have some terrible "growing up"
-my automatic car is the problem
Amongst others.
To top it off, and this is my fave, he told me to give him my dad& #39;s number so they can discuss man to man since my sister and I were being stubborn. Smh
He tried to run but I held his door shut with one hand. ONE HAND. Don& #39;t get in a fight with me, I think I have super strength.

He wouldn& #39;t let me take his details so I detained him until police came.
Anyways, we head to the station and my statement takes 30 seconds while this man is tangling himself in his own words.

They even got to the point of drawing for him to help him understand how so obviously wrong he was.

We were there for over 90 minutes.
He had tried so hard to convince me to settle the matter without the police but I told him his attitude showed he wouldn& #39;t keep his word.

The officers agreed too. He would run.

Peep how he brings up "galimoto ya makolo" here too as if my dad& #39;s the one who was driving. https://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="😂" title="Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen" aria-label="Emoji: Gesicht mit FreudentrĂ€nen">
Anyways, my sister and I are fine. I have minor scratches from the shattered window but nothing major. Thank God.

Please advise your uncles not to come at younger drivers sideways just for just. Accidents happen and can be settled without insults.

Peace and Love.
