Watching this hearing is making me angrier and angrier

This is a massive, coordinated apologia for one of the most shameless traitors ever to work in our government—Mike Flynn—who was working on a private energy deal and illegally negotiating *related* U.S. policy simultaneously
Mike Flynn took trips in support of his private deal and lied about them on federal documents; he had meetings with Russians and other foreign nationals and lied about them; he lied about being a Turkish agent; he lied about monies he'd received; he usurped government authority
Somehow America has been convinced that unless Flynn was being investigated criminally under the Logan Act (which he could've and should've been) he was clean, when in fact he had committed numerous crimes *and* was a historically serious counterintelligence-investigation target
We now know all the crimes committed by Flynn (FARA, making false statements on federal security-clearance forms and more) *and* that he was the gravest counterintelligence threat atop our government we've ever faced—Trump excluded—which is why Obama tried to warn Trump about him
Republicans' Benghazi investigation lasted years and years and years, yet *this* hearing—all by itself—is among the most brazen defenses of treachery against the US I've ever seen, and one imagines an investigation of the motivations of the senators behind it could last a century
