The GOP has tried to cartoonize the Trump-Russia investigation into incoherence, hoping America will forget Flynn met with and spoke repeatedly to the Russian ambassador in secret between December '15 and his December '16 phone calls

The latter calls were not isolated incidents
During the period (2015 to 2016) Mike Flynn was communicating secretly with the Russian ambassador, he was also working on a massive transnational deal in the energy sector that required Russian involvement and specifically the dropping of all sanctions on Russia

He's a traitor
It's the oldest trick in the defense lawyer's playbook to focus narrowly on one incident and pretend that nothing that happened around it contextualizes it

For some reason Democrats are falling into this trap with respect to Flynn, when his full story is harrowing and traitorous
The intelligence community continues to be holding the story of what Flynn did so close to its vest that it's made it impossible for people like Sally Yates to testify in a way that properly underlines *why* Flynn was under a counterintelligence investigation on January 5, 2017
It's sickening to watch Graham and the GOP take advantage of the fact that the U.S. intelligence community has handcuffed every Obama administration official into pretending they suddenly decided to investigate Mike Flynn for *no reason* in January 2017

It's actually *sickening*
