The onus of peaceful co-existence between Hindus and Muslims doesn’t lie solely with the Hindus of India.
India has always been a dharmic country, with religions like Hinduism, Buddhism, Sikhism, and Jainism local to it, and flourishing within and beyond the boundaries 1/n

of our civilization. But the country repeatedly faced Muslim invaders since year 700 AD. They murdered, raped, destroyed, and razed settlements, and most importantly, temples. Thousands of temples have been destroyed by Muslim invaders and many mosques built over them to 2/n

erase their history. The grand temples of the South are a testimony of what India, north of the Vindhyas, lost to barbaric invaders. The present-day Muslims of India are not responsible for this. But they keep associating/identifying themselves with these murdering 3/n

invaders, forgetting their Hindu roots, that their ancestors had, at some point, surrendered themselves to their invaders' religion, for various reasons including Jiziya, forceful abduction of women, etc. 4/n

( Mopillahs of Kerala translates to Son-in-law; Hindu women were forced to marry Muslim men). They will have to acknowledge that Hindus were wronged in the past and for healing and ending the enmity they should acknowledge that their ancestors were Hindus and give up 5/n
