Also, just because someone is Republican doesn’t mean they don’t appreciate the outdoors and nature. Trump’s kids are big time hunters and fishers. They’ve been to Bristol Bay, they understand the importance of wetlands to salmon.

It’s often hard for liberals to understand, but to many outdoorsmen, supporting small government does not contradict a need for public lands and to preserve natural habitat.
