Global box office revenue in 2019: $42.5 billion.

By studio:
Disney — $13.2B
WB — $4.4B
UNI — $3.7B

Those studios alone: $21.3 billion. 50 percent of global box office revenue. Studios conglomerate owners pushing streaming services.

Can't ban them; have to work with them.
And therein lies the reality. The studios want to be in theaters. They also want to be in homes as fast as possible. They want whatever revenue avenue there is. Again, going to digital retailers or directly into their own streaming services means bigger or full percent of profit.
What's evidently clear is threats to ban studios, especially the big three that also have streaming services, is childish. You can't ignore Disney (and Fox), Warner Bros., and Universal movies. Studios want to work it out! They want to be in theaters.

But the window? Yeah, no.
