I feel like I have to say this more often than I should but why do so many Atleti fans care what other people think of our club and players?

Let them call Joao Felix a flop, Simeone too defensive, Oblak overrated for having a good defense, etc. It really doesn’t matter.

Because in the end it’s about the enjoyment that you get out of watching your team and the results they produce.

FT opinions have no impact on how good the players are/how they play on the pitch. I personally find it annoying when an Atleti player gets hyped up outside of Spain

because then there’s a chance they might leave. Some of our best players in the past decade had almost no outside recognition and it allowed them to produce on the field leading to titles.

Simeone and the players have proven their quality time and time again for us.

The growing list trophies and consistent top 3 record speak for themselves. Don’t let goonerszn or cityzen4life tell you how good your players/club are.

It’s not even worth your time to argue with them. We have a champions league to win so I’d be more focused on August 13.
