55 jobs at, let’s say an average £50,000 a year, is £2.75m.

When you consider some of the deals we’ve sanctioned for players, and the fees paid to them and certain agents, it’s shameful the club see fit to let 55 hard-working people lose their jobs at this moment in time. https://twitter.com/Arsenal/status/1290999607120531457
I know this is redundant to say, but it’s particularly shameful when the owner is a fucking billionaire many times over.

This is dreadful.
Also, three days after winning the cup, rescuing the season, finishing on a high, and everyone’s feeling pretty good – and they drop this?

Who in their right mind decided NOW was the right time?
Finally to present the idea that these 55 people have to lose their jobs ‘to enable us to continue to invest in the team’ is an insult to them and to supporters.

Give me a break.
Finally, finally – just to be really clear, I’m not being critical of the club here.

I’m being critical of the owners.

And if you’re in my mentions defending billionaires, get out.
It would also really suit KSE if people were angry at Mesut Ozil instead of them.

There are reasons to be frustrated with the player, but this is not it.

Don't fall into that trap
