JNU historian Supriya Varma claimed there was no temple under Babri & ASI excavation was hoax.

When she was produced in court & asked to prove her claims,she pleaded-

When Supriya Varma was produced in court and asked to provide any evidence for her claims, this was how she backtracked in court.

What @thewire_in is presenting is basically FAKE NEWS of a JNU historian that will be disguised as "personal opinion" if it be challenged in courts.

The Court observed:

"Supriya Varma has admitted that she is totally unaware of GPR (archaeology) report. She has not even gone through it.

Her statements are purely imaginary & she hasn't given reasons to support such an opinion"

When the judge asked

"Supriya, archaeological remains like Kalasha and Makara have been found at the site. Do you really think such remains will be found in a mosque?"

Supriya Varma admitted

"Yes,I have HEARD of the word Kalash. I agree that it is not found in any mosque"

When asked to prove in court her claim that the glazed tiles proved Islamic presence, Supriya Varma backtracked on her claim.

She said

"I am not an expert of Persian and Arabic.

I have not examined the sources.

I am not really in a position to say anything about it now"
