Werner vs Aubameyang
I will comparing both players' last full Bundesliga season by numbers. Both players played for clubs that finished in the 3rd spot in their respective seasons
Aubameyang got off to his Premier League career to a flyer! Will Werner do the same?

I'll start off by looking at both team's numbers then go on to talk about both players in more detail! Before going into the formations.

Aubameyang contributed to 3.8% of all Bundesliga goals in the 2016/17 season and Werner contributed 3.7% of all goals in his season. Very similar numbers! Let's look at the formations/roles both players played.
In the 2016/17 season Dortmund played with a 4-2-3-1 or the 4-1-4-1 formation with Aubameyang leading the line. Arsenal also played the 4-2-3-1 formation when Aubameyang went to them which helped him fit in!
RB Leipzig's system this season has been different to Dortmund's one. They played a 4-2-2-2 formation. Werner played up front with Poulsen/Schick who were both tall strikers. They used 2 attacking midfielders on the left and right that would drifft in and out with 2 holding mids.
As of yet we don't know how Chelsea could line up but they could line up in a similar formation with Werner and Abraham up front, Pulisic and Ziyech as the creative midfielders/wingers and the Kovacic and Kante in that holding role.
If Chelsea buy Havertz they could still play this formation or drop him behind Werner. Haverz played every game since the restart for Leverkusen as a striker.
Do you think Werner will have the same impact as Aubameyang did when he arrived at Arsenal?
