Good folks, a query: has anyone seen stuff on whether or not communication to the public to get onboard with a *big thing* was more successful ‘back in the day’ compared to now? Or was it same mess, different media?
Like, around WWII where you had newspapers and radio and that was about it, was it just ‘send it out, people will get it’ vs now where there are a bazillion outlets and platforms and a bunch of not helpful types counterarguing?
Or was it the same range of responses to the messages, just less visible to us (because, as my question hints, knowing history is a niche gig and people like me are hopeless)?
