“The individual violence faced by Rohingya Muslims, for instance rape, cutting of heads, parading the Rohingya women naked around the village, or collective killings of men in circles...”

I’ve been studying the Rohingya for a while now and it’s always heavy on the heart.
But today is different. After reading that sentence I couldn’t stop crying. You read about the Uyghurs, about Beirut, about Syrians, about Palestinians, and about so many others. Today, I can’t deal with the feeling of helplessness.
Today, I’m thinking about what answer I’ll give when asked about these on the day of judgement. Today, I’m heartbroken because I feel useless. Today, I’m questioning our Ummah and what it means to be one body. I’m questioning our lack of power and inability to defend our dignity.
I think all I can do today is make dua. Which is more powerful than I can actually grasp.

If you’ve read this, please keep the oppressed and the wronged in your duas.
