I'm going to say something extremely unpopular - and that's ok. If i recall correctly there was a lady on twitter who spoke up about the lockdown in SA when it was first announced. She raised her concerns around the effects it would have on the economy and pointed out

that so many would not be able to afford it. I also recall the extreme backlash she experienced as a result of this. People going on and on about how she is valuing money over the lives of people. The interesting thing is now that people are seeing the effects of lockdown

on the economy the same people that called for her blood are calling for the current regulations (not nearly as restrictive as the original ones) to be cancelled completely. Now...I am not putting forward an opinion on lockdown here at all. i have my own

feelings and opinions about that and that actually has nothing to do with this thread. My point is the double standards of some people are actually completely laughable.
