Despite being such an open person in front of people, Ezra has so much things to reveal. Even Kala doesn't know him that deep yet. His PTSD, his anxiety, and Zane. Kala doesn't know those 3 yet. Especially Zane, his god-son.

Zane Brooke Williams, playful boy. Zane is his friends' son, they know each other way back when Ezra was still in Sydney. His friend, Blake married an Indonesian woman, Sarah. They also moved to Indonesia just like Ezra so he could meet Zane frequently.

It was raining that night, Ezra was working on his project with warm tea served on his table. Kala was sitting on the sofa, also working on his own work. It was quiet between them, only the sound of rain and a few thunder could be heard. It was pretty calming.

A sudden phone call came, breaking the calming sounds around them.

"𝑩𝒍𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝒊𝒔 𝒄𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒈..."

He looked at his phone screen and raised his eyebrow. It was pretty late so it was kind off weird for his friend to call him. But, he picked up the call.

"Apakah ini tuan Ezra? Kita dari Rumah Sakit Pondok Indah mengabarkan bahwa tuan Blake dan istrinya sedang berada di ruang operasi. Det—" Said the person on the other side before he cut her off.

"Saya akan segera kesana" He said shortly. He hung up and spaced out.

Sarah's parents passed away and Blake's parents were in Sydney so he was their number one emergency call. His thoughts were racing everywhere. Every bad scenarios were playing on his brain.

Zane...

How is Zane...

He only could think of Zane that moment.

His hand dropped, kind off shaking a little bit. He took a deep breath and released it, trying to calm himself.
