small thread of me debunking this jhe and davy situation!

first of all, og had one source that was a text article — you can already see this looks unreliable due to the grammar and spelling e.g. spelling jimi hendrix’s name as “jimmy hendrix”

JHE played with the monkees for seven dates, their final show on July 17, 1967 — leaving BEFORE the tour had finished. If they actually had beaten up davy, wouldn’t he have any visible bruise or mark on him for the rest of the tour?

as wilbur said ^, if this had happened there would of been much more coverage on it, with reliable and verified sources, but the only one we have was taken from a random text article.

i understand when you want to inform people of a possible situation that has happened, but using it as an excuse to cancel a black artist and ignoring/being apologists for when white artists & bands have done terrible things -

- e.g. og posting about their favourite band doing blackface and still stanning them, and then not cancelling white artists is just you being racist and i’m actually sick of it
