Okie dokie. I think I have a decent hybrid plan: CORE 101 a la cart.
Students can choose 3 of the 4 activities during the week:
Synchronous f2f discussion session (sign up required)
http://Hypothes.is annotation
Collaborative activity In Google docs/slides
Topic reflection

All content delivery will be asynchronous. This allows both the class and individual students to have flexibility to come to class if they want and/or to move the whole class online seamlessly in case of another shutdown (moving f2f session to zoom).
I don't want to record my students. I don't want to force my students in the class. I also want to give the students who want some f2f time some of that.
I will also combine sections of the course in those collaborative activities as @jessifer mentioned in his #digped keynote

(for the record I did that in the spring and it worked brilliantly)
(also for the record my insitution is testing students twice a week, and we are in a state with low cases

Project weeks will be scattered throughout the semester. These weeks will be spent meeting with small groups of students that share the same overarching topic. Student will complete individual projects, all work done outside the class. Sessions will be for discussion, peer review
Now to figure out labs.
