Boy works hard. Plays AAU. Excels in high school. Gets DI scholarship. Makes it to the pros, against the odds.

People cheer the NBA.

Girl works hard. Plays AAU. Excels in high school. Gets DI scholarship. Makes it to the pros, against the odds.

People hate on the WNBA.

Why?
Even if you're not a fan of the women's game, fine, tell me why the need for hate? Have you never worked hard for something in your life? These athletes work their ass off to achieve the pinnacle of their sport. That should be celebrated, regardless of gender. I don't get it.
If a woman studied and studied and studied to become a doctor or a lawyer or whatever, you champion that. But if a women trains and trains and trains to become the best basketball player they can be, you mock? Make it make sense.
I hope these guys who take time out of their daily lives — from the lazy dudes with their beers in their apartment to the political pundits with a mic and a large following of lazy dudes with their beers in their apartments — have daughters who grow up wanting to be WNBA legends.
Sorry. I'm on one tonight.
