Before I do anything, I want to clarify: I think EVERYONE should learn sign language. However, I do not think non-native, non-proficient hearing signers should be on any platform using ASL, taking attention away from Deaf creators. It’s exploitative & disrespectful, in my opinion

This is part of why I personally don’t feel comfortable publicly posting videos of myself signing... Though I am a VERY proud Coda, I know that my ASL tends to have errors at times, & I would never want to share any content that could be potentially harmful to the Deaf community.

Anyways. I feel like i’m having a stroke
