+JMJ+ Greetings and welcome to tonight’s Live Twitter Rosary Thread! We’re praying for an end to the #Coronavirus crisis & for the healing of our country, too.

“Behold! I make all things new!” — Rev 21:5

#CatholicTwitter #RosaryProject
The next tweet will be an antiphon, Scripture verse, something to help us prepare to pray. Then I’ll post some general intentions. Feel free to add your own. At the top of the hour I’ll begin posting the Rosary itself in this thread.
A verse from Scripture to help us prepare to pray. It’s part of the Magnificat & from Evening Prayer.

My soul proclaims the greatness of the Lord, my spirit rejoices in God my Savior for he has looked with favor on His lowly servant. Luke 1:46-48
Next some general intentions. Feel free to use these or your own, post them if you like so we can all pray for them.
We pray for an end to the madness, the violence, the hatred, & also the temptation to seek revenge. We are not called to be pacifists, sometimes we must defend ourselves or others, though we are called to be peacemakers for blessed are they.

(Mt 5:9)
We pray for those who are suffering with illness. May we never waste our suffering, remembering always to offer it up to be united with Christ’s Own Redemptive Suffering that His Father’s Will be done, & may we remain united to Him come what may.
We pray for all who have lost family, friends, jobs, homes. We pray for those who are losing faith & losing hope, that they may remember to turn to You, Lord, even in their suffering, remembering that this is not our home, as we look with joy & hope to life in the world to come.
We gladly pray for those who have asked prayers of us, and we are not ashamed to ask for prayers for ourselves, for we are none of us truly independent of others.
We pray for those who are feeling overwhelmed, for those filled with sorrow, for those who wonder how they will make it through even one more day.
And we pray for those who forget to pray & for those who refuse. We pray they repent & turn to You, Lord. You have the words of eternal life, Lord, You and only You.

Lord, hear our prayer.

Amen.
