The strong friend role can easily turn into bondage...gotta be careful with that.

On one hand, folks think we don’t go through anything. On the other...we have a hard time opening up because a lot of us don’t want to be perceived as weak.

Listen, if you have a “strong friend” in your life that’s great but make sure you aren’t just dumping everything on them. Make sure their in a good space to even listen cause sometimes we ain’t. And make sure you’re there for them to it’s not gonna kill you.

And strong friends stop confusing pride with strength. We aren’t machines, we’re human too and we deserve to be vulnerable. There are ppl around us who wanna be there but can’t because we got the walls up. Time to stop that.
