It is (y)our job to help make sure that JOCs and writers of color on and off of this thread get the mentorship, opportunities, training and all of the other things that so many of our white, male colleagues have gotten and will get without asking.

If we want to make our industry more equitable this is where to start, follow the progression of these writers and support them at every point. This is just ONE PIECE of making sure we won’t one day all have horror stories to tell.
