2/Our school standards are based on those ways of knowing (white ways of knowing). So when we’re trying to talk about the kids being engaged, we’re trying to teach students that white culture is what the right culture is or that's what they were asking them to be proficient in."

6a/ [regarding learning pods] I ask the parents facing these decisions about forming pods to organize to demand fully funded safe return to campus. We need parents to organize & ask their kids teachers, what's your union doing and get involved there.

6c/ Also, you must keep your kids enrolled in public school b/c if not that's going to further exacerbate the funding issue. So keep your kids enrolled, if your kids are not enrolled go ahead & enroll them now & fight for funding for public school. We need it for our democracy."
