1x01 "the gang gets racist"

what a moment. 15 years and 14 seasons later and this episode is still one of the absolute best sunny has to offer. in terms of group dynamic and tone, this ep is miles ahead of so many shows. to think they made the pilot for $200 in rob's apartment.

theres so many incredible moments and lines in this ep?? you're not gay you're just really really vain. dennis teaching mac how to do a tequila shot. tiny tiny tiny twink mac. dennis had his experiment and changed his mind. this:

13x06 the gang solves the bathroom problem

this might be my favourite episode? it brings me so much joy to see these stupid mean people wearing hawaiian shirts like the stupid mean lgbts they are. they're ugly and i hate them no i dont

this ep has EVERYTHING: trans charlie rights, dee saying lesbians, are you more gay than you are catholic? i dont know they're at war, the pina colada song, identity politics, YOU STUPID TWINK IM A BEAR IM A BEAR YOU WISH YOU WERE A BEAR, "gender fluids"

12x06 hero or hate crime?

mac's sexuality is played for jokes for pretty much the entire series, including when he comes out in the gang goes to hell, so seeing it treated seriously in this ep is so. idk. reassuring. mac is gay and it's not a punchline anymore. love it.

this ep makes me cry bc it really shows that rcg (specifically rob who has talked abt this publically) actually LISTEN to their lgbt fans who see themselves in mac. not a lot of shows do that. it makes me cry.

ANYWAY. gay mac rules. gay rich mac.

12x08 the gang tends bar

macdennis nation please rise for our national anthem:

NO, ST- GODDAMN IT. I HATE VALENTINES DAY BECAUSE YOU ASSHOLES NEVER GOT ME ANYTHING. OKAY, AND I HAVE FEELINGS! OF COURSE I HAVE FEELINGS! I HAVE BIG FEELINGS, OKAY?! AN- AND IT HURTS.

i still cant believe this ep is real. the narrative complexity. the subtext. the metatext. the regular, canon text. the pure romance of "cause i know you, man". glenn "juliard" howerton's face the entire last scene. incredible.

3x15 the gang dances their asses off

this one's just really fucking funny idk what to tell you. charlie's 8th grade dance routine to take my breath away. mac and dennis's dance battle. the backstabbing and in-fighting even though the gang all has the same goal. absolute peak

8x09 reynolds vs reynolds: the cereal defense

the absolute HEIGHT of tomfoolery and zero-braincell buffoonery bullshit. i love it. it's so stupid. there is nothing in the world funnier than the fact that this screencap is from a debate about CEREAL WHILE DRIVING

13x10 mac finds his pride

this is the best episode of sunny. you are literally homophobic if you disagree. that's not a joke that's the whole point of the episode. i wept the first time i watched this ep, and every time after. thank u rob mcelhenney

9x03 the gang tries desperately to win an award

they played call me maybe in its entirety. twice. they should've gotten an emmy for that alone. also the title card drop in this ep is one of the funniest theyve ever done.

7x07 chardee macdennis: the game of games

this is the most rewatchable ep of sunny. it's definitely the best to show anyone who hasn't seen the show before. this is the poster episode of sunny. the blueprint. so many incredible moments.

no puzzles no puzzles no puzzles. the no swearing rule in round 2. gentlemen, suck my dick. BECAUSE DENNIS IS A BASTARD MAN. charlie miming hungry hungry hippos. frank in the dog cage. this whole scene:
